Survivor Quest!

This session Eagles will play the role of heroes learning to survive in the wilderness as they discover more about their identities and self-knowledge.

It will culminate in a community camping trip where they demonstrate their learning and guide their parents through survival challenges, all while exploring the outdoors and having fun.Eagles to explore the basic needs of human survival (food, water, shelter, safety, first aid, and identity) to explore and understand the differences between a “want” and a “need,”and to allow Eagles to put themselves into new, challenging situations that push them to the edge of their challenge zones.Eagles will learn about heroes who have found callings in environmentalism, outdoor survival, and travel. They will learn about natural science, the water cycle, fire, navigation, knot-tying, first aid, and plant identification. In the exploration of identity and self-knowledge as a basic human need, Eagles will learn their Love Language, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and the traits they love most about themselves.
