Session 3 Week 4 and 5 Year 6
Over the weekend, several learners participated in the Children’s Business Fair at Lamar Dixon. They were able to put their entrepreneurial skills to the test and see how much they earned from their business idea from Session 2.

During our Entomology Quest, the heroes became young scientists by creating their very own ant farms. Over the next couple of weeks, they’ll observe how the ants build tunnels, gather food, and work together—discovering firsthand how these tiny creatures demonstrate teamwork and perseverance. As if that weren’t exciting enough, our butterflies finally hatched from their cocoons! After patiently watching them transform, the heroes joyfully released them into the sunshine when the weather warmed up. It was a magical moment seeing them take flight!

The ES heroes planned their Entomology Exhibition by dividing up roles, coming up with an agenda, writing speeches, making pamphlets, and setting up displays. They were so excited to show the parents and guests everything they’ve learned and worked on over the last several weeks!

The Montessori studio began learning all about Ireland. The heroes explored Irish traditions and geography and even got creative by decorating shamrock cookies—a tasty and festive way to celebrate what they’ve learned so far.

PE was filled with laughter, teamwork, and energy. Will kicked things off by leading everyone in an exercise routine to music, setting a fun and active tone. Then, the heroes practiced communication and trust as they navigated a tricky obstacle course blindfolded, relying on their partners for guidance. They finished PE with a lively round of Four Corners, a favorite game that always brings out plenty of smiles.
The heroes were eagerly looking forward to our school camping trip—a chance to build even more memories together in the great outdoors! They learned knife safety, fire starting skills, and how to navigate in the dark. It was a great time for all!
