The Christmas Day countdown has officially begun....only 9 days and counting! Shopping and decorating is underway; hopefully we don't have any Eagles on the naughty list. Older Eagles have arranged a secret Santa gift exchange for Wednesday December 21. Little Eagles are making special Christmas goodies just in time for the holidays. Per usual Ninja Noel is hiding around the studio being mischievous. Let's all spread some extra joy and Christmas cheer this season! Exhibition 4 is this evening see you all at 5:30!
This week Little Eagles kicked off the week by making special friendship bracelets. Tis the season to focus on kindness and peace for the holidays. Each bracelet had the little eagles initials and other special decorations. Ask a little eagle what their favorite beads are on their friendship bracelet.
Session 4 Exhibition is finally here! This session got off to a very slow start because the Eagles were not so interested in the quest subject matter; but my have the tables turned! It all started with a deep dive into the scholastic site "Immigration-Stories of Yesterday and Today". While on the site the Eagles heard testimonials from several immigrants and saw timelines of world events that influenced these immigration patterns. That's where the excitement began!
After finding out more details of the good, bad, and ugly involving immigration the Eagles became more and more intrigued. Their growing curiosity was even further explored with visits from the guest heroes. After realizing that becoming a naturalized citizen had many unexpected challenges the race to defeat this quest was on. For some, passing the test to become a naturalized citizen was a breeze. Others got tripped up on the practice test and application. Overall there was a ton learned and discussed by the Eagles.
