Session 1, Week 2, 2022
This week at Active Leadership Academy the eagles soared beyond our expectations deciding how they will run the studio this year. They held town meetings and started their studio covenant. This year the eagles did not waste anytime voting on committee members and starting systems of accountability.
There were a lot of changes to the schedule and we physically moved into new classrooms this week. This was a bit stressful for some Eagles - structure and routine are important. Change can be hard! Now that we have switched rooms and have things dialed in, it should be smooth sailing for the rest of the session!
Heroes who are going to change the world need to be able to communicate in multiple genres. This week we launched writer's workshop where the eagles learn different writing processes.
Teams work in one area of the studio for one week. The following week they rotate to a new area.
One Eagle is selected at random each day to judge which team has done the best job. At the end of the week, the team with the most votes from a judge gets to choose the area they will clean the next week.
