Session 1 Week 4 Year 6
Even though it was a shorter week due to the Labor Day holiday, we managed to pack in a ton of activities and fun moments at school!
We kicked things off on Tuesday with our PE fitness testing. Everyone gave it their all as we worked through stretching, sit ups, push ups, and jumping jacks. It was great to see so much effort and encouragement from our heroes! The guides reminded everyone that it’s all about progress and doing their personal best.
Midweek brought a big highlight — our rock climbing field trip! Whether it was your first time climbing or you’re already a pro, everyone had a blast. We challenged ourselves to reach new heights (literally) and cheered each other on from below. It was an awesome mix of fun and teamwork!
In art class, we put the finishing touches on our Spanish trinket boxes. After two weeks of designing, drawing, and adding final details, it was so cool to see everyone's unique style come to life. These colorful creations are something we’ll be proud to take home.
During cooking, we got creative with food by making fruit donuts, crabs, and snakes! Using fruits, chocolate peanut butter, sprinkles, and a little imagination, we turned healthy snacks into edible art. It was almost too cute to eat — almost!
We wrapped up the week with Fun Friday, where we all relaxed and watched Lilo and Stitch. Snacks, laughter, and a feel-good movie made the perfect ending to a week all about building the tribe.
From climbing walls to crafting snacks and finishing art, this week was short but packed with energy and creativity. We’re excited to see what’s in store for next week!
